How a personal safety app
fits into a quiet life.

imokie is a daily safety check-in app built for solo living, independent adventurers, and anyone who wants their inner circle to know they're okay — without loud panic buttons or invasive tracking. This is how it works, end to end.

01

A one-swipe daily check-in

Each day you swipe once to say i'm okie. That's the whole interaction. No forms, no GPS broadcast, no public post — just a soft signal to the small circle of people you've chosen.

Compared to a traditional emergency check-in app, the goal isn't to summon help every time you open your phone. It's to make safety a quiet daily habit, so the people who care about you don't have to ask.

02

Gentle nudges before anyone worries

If you forget, imokie nudges you privately first. Multiple reminders are sent to you before your circle is alerted. Most days the loop closes between you and the app — your people never need to know you almost forgot.

This is the difference between a personal safety app and a panic button. Panic buttons assume the worst has already happened. A gentle check-in app assumes nothing, and that's why people actually stick with it.

03

A calm SOS when you need it

If something is wrong, one long press triggers SOS. Your live location is shared with your circle and, if you've set them up, emergency contacts are notified. No false-positive sirens — just the right people, fast.

04

An encrypted digital legacy vault

imokie also doubles as digital will storage: passwords, account recovery instructions, letters, important documents. Everything is encrypted on your device with a key only you hold.

If you stop checking in for a sustained period — and only after multiple reminders to you — the vault is released to the people you've named. It's the quiet, modern version of "in case of emergency, please call…".

05

Built for solo living

Solo living safety doesn't have to mean surveillance. imokie is designed so you stay in control: who's in your circle, what they see, what they only see if something goes wrong. Daily reassurance for today. A safety net for tomorrow.

Frequently asked

Is imokie a personal safety app or an emergency app?
Both — but the daily experience is calm, not alarming. The check-in is one swipe. SOS and the legacy vault only activate when you ask, or when you stop checking in.
How is this different from a panic-button app?
Panic-button apps assume the worst has already happened. imokie assumes nothing. You swipe once a day to say you're okay, and the people who care about you don't have to ask.
What happens if I forget to check in?
imokie nudges you privately first, multiple times. Your circle is only notified after you've missed those reminders — most days the loop quietly closes between you and the app.
When does the digital legacy vault release?
Only after a sustained period of missed check-ins and repeated reminders to you. You stay in control of who's named and what they receive.
Does imokie track my location?
No. There is no live location broadcast in normal use. Location is only shared with your circle if you trigger SOS.

Be there for your loved ones, even when you can't be.
