feature · location sharing

Location on for the walk.
Off for the rest of your life.

imokie doesn't track you. Live location switches on when you press SOS or choose 'walk me home' — and switches off automatically the moment you're safe. No forever-tracking, no history stored.

01

Walk-me-home mode

Tap 'walk me home', pick a contact, pick a duration. They see a live map. The share ends automatically when you arrive or the timer runs out. Nothing lingers.

02

SOS location

When SOS fires, your live location is attached to the alert automatically. Your circle can follow you in real time until you mark yourself safe.

03

No ambient tracking

imokie is deliberately not a family locator. Your circle cannot check where you are on a normal day. That's the design — safety without surveillance.

Frequently asked

Does imokie track my location in the background?
No. There is no ambient location broadcast. Location is only shared when you trigger SOS or actively press 'share my location for the next 30 minutes'.
How is live location shared with someone who doesn't use imokie?
They receive an SMS with a temporary web link. Opening it shows a live map that expires when you mark yourself safe or the session ends.
How long does a share stay live?
Ad-hoc shares default to 30 minutes and can be extended. SOS-triggered shares stay live until you mark yourself safe.
Is location history stored on imokie's servers?
No. Location data is streamed to your recipients directly during an active session; nothing is retained after the session ends.

Quiet safety. For the people you love.
